We value family and friends. We want our children to grow up in safe and loving homes, and we want our seniors to enjoy life with the respect and dignity they deserve. We appreciate the joys and companionship our friends bring into our lives and want to maintain our connections with them while also broadening our circle of friends. Speaking of friends and family, we also enjoy a good meal around the table. We like to cook or grill. We like trying new dishes and discovering new tastes. We enjoy the wild and great outdoors, as well as the little bits of nature in our own backyards, or even just on our windowsills. We enjoy a good hike in the woods or maybe getting our hands dirty in our gardens or potted plants. And, yes, we do think sunsets are beautiful. (Sunrises too!) Sometimes, we’re a bit nostalgic. We like things that are antique, vintage or retro. There’s nothing quite like the look and feel of an old toy you've had since childhood or an old book that’s been handed down from person to person, that would have its own story to tell were it able. The good ol’ days? Well, we like every day to be the good ol’ days. We enjoy the past, but we’re also optimistic about the future. At times, though, we do need a little pick-me-up, and are ready to receive (or lend) some inspiration. Along with that, good humor is appreciated as well. You can’t always take life too seriously, and you might get too many wrinkles if you do! We’re also interested in saving money as well. We like fixing old things, making them new again and keeping them around a few more years. And, when we buy new, we want to make sure we’re getting a good deal and that we’re buying something that will last. We also like earning a few more bucks on the side, maybe selling stuff online or at the flea market. We want ideas for growing and running our small or home businesses.
